Fennel is a distinctive Mediterranean plant with a long history of culinary use throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Its aromatic seeds — botanically the dried fruits of the plant — are recognised for their characteristic sweet, anise-like flavour and naturally occurring essential oils.
Our simple formulation contains only Fennel Seed Powder and a plant-derived HPMC capsule shell, with no fillers, binders, rice flour, magnesium stearate or flow agents.

What Is Fennel?
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) is a flowering plant belonging to the Apiaceae family, which also includes carrots, parsley, celery and coriander.
Native to the Mediterranean region, fennel is now cultivated throughout many parts of the world.
Different parts of the plant are used as foods, including the bulb, leaves and seeds. Fennel seed has a particularly long history as a culinary spice and botanical ingredient.

Although commonly called seeds, fennel seeds are technically the dried fruits of the fennel plant.
